what is a Resurrection Man
The term Resurrection men is used to describe a person who would dig up graves of freshly buried people and take their bodies to sell. Most were sold to universities and hospitals to perform dissections and other experiments. This job was obviously illegal and dangerous, however people were paid very well for the bodies they took. Resurrection men were also referred to as body snatchers or ressurectionist. In "A Tale of Two Cities" Jerry Cruncher, the man who works for Tellson's Bank, is a resurrection man.
